Volunteer

Do graphic design? Have teaching experience? Like event planning and publicity? Have great connections? Don't do any of these things but want to learn? You're perfect for us!

The Edge is a happy, collaborative environment that is a blast to work in. If you're interested in volunteering with us, contact Catherine and we'll find the perfect job for you.

Edgewood Arts regularly hosts chautauquas and all sorts of other events and performances. We'd love to have you there! We'd love to have you there for the fun of it and to show support for the arts. Take a friend, or a date, or your kids - email Catherine Killingsworth to get on our invite list, and we'll be sure to let you know when fun things are afoot.

True patrons of the arts will jump at the chance to make a direct, measureable effect on a talented artist's development. Our Writer Sponsorship Program allows you the opportunity to do just that: by funding a residency, you will be able to give a young writer the time, support, structure, and mentorships he or she needs to grow as an artist. Your name will be attached to the residency on all of our programs and publications, and you will be able to meet your Resident Writer and read his or her final product. What more gratifying way is there to watch a young artist develop?

As each four-month residency costs us about $2500, the costs of sponsorship are as follows:

If any of these options interests you, please contact Catherine Killingsworth, our Executive Director. She will be happy to meet with you to discuss sponsorship in more detail.
